Who this covers

Watni OLT Manager is a professional network-monitoring tool published by Watni Digital. It is used by the engineers and support staff of an internet service provider to monitor the fibre network that provider operates. It is not a consumer product and is not intended for use by the general public.

What we collect about you

Nothing. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service and no third-party libraries that transmit data. We do not build a profile of you, we do not track your location, and we do not share anything with anyone, because we do not receive anything in the first place.

What is stored on your phone

Two things, and both stay on the device:

• The server address you enter. The app is multi-installation; you tell it which operator's server to talk to.
• Your sign-in token, held in Android's Keystore-backed encrypted storage so you are not asked to sign in every time you open the app.

Signing out erases both. Uninstalling the app erases both.

What travels over the network

The app communicates with a single server, chosen by you: the OLT monitoring server operated by your employer or service provider. It sends your username and password when you sign in, and a session token with each request afterwards. It contacts no other service, and no data is sent to Watni Digital.

The information the app displays — optical signal readings, fibre-fault records, equipment status and subscriber service records — belongs to the network operator and remains on the operator's own infrastructure. The app is a viewer for that data, not a collector of it. How the operator handles those records is governed by the operator's own policies.

Permissions

Permission	Why it is needed
INTERNET	To reach the monitoring server you configure. This is the only permission the app declares.

When you tap a subscriber's phone number, the app hands that number to the dialler or WhatsApp app you already have installed. It does not read your contacts, your call history or your messages.

Children

This is an occupational tool for network engineers. It is not directed at children and has no content of interest to them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new date at the top of the page.
